GUANACASTE
Paris, "The City of Light," has been written about, filmed and photographed countless times. It can seem as if we all know Paris before we see it, but nothing compares to actually being there. Going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, walking along the Seine at dusk or sipping coffee at an elegant sidewalk cafe are quintessential Parisian experiences that you can't find anywhere else. Here, you will find history and romance intertwine.
MONTEVERDE
Normandy offers breathtaking scenery, splendid beaches, quaint villages, rich green pastures and lots of history. William the Conqueror launched his invasion of England from Normandy, it's also where Edward III landed to begin the Hundred Years War and where the Allied forces launched the liberation of Europe in 1944. Today many visit the massive WW2 fortifications, which are still strewn across the beaches.
JACO
Part walkable historic park part modern waterfront metropolis (the "Hub of New England") - this is a place with no lack of things to do day or night. The city is still a relatively easy place to visit, Boston's attractions and historical sites are laid out in simple-to-follow walking tours. Be sure to check out Fenway Park—one of the nation's most hallowed baseball stadiums—is a destination in itself. Also be sure to see nearby Salem.
ARENAL
Today, Dieppe is mostly defined by its 4 ports and its different neighbourhoods - including the historic centre; the residential Saint-Pierre district; the Faubourg de la Barre, with its beautiful mansions and chalets; and the 17th-century Sainte-Catherine district, with its unique brick facades hiding shops and galleries. Everywhere you look, you will uncover evidence of Dieppe's status as a city of art and history.
THE CARIBBEAN
The principal city of the region where champagne is produced, though many would agree that the highlight of the city is its magnificent Gothic cathedral, the Cathedrale Notre Dame, begun in 1211 and completed almost a century later. Most of the kings of France were crowned there. Don't miss the stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall in the chapel and the statue of Joan of Arc in full armour.
