Connection Custom Travel Inc. began as a European Group Travel company back in 1986, primarily organising battlefield tours for Canadian families and Veterans. We've been growing with The Battlefield Tours ever since.
In May of 1995, just after the 50th Anniversary of Holland, we concluded a tour with Canadian Veterans and their families and wondered if it would be the last tour of its kind we would ever have the honour of leading.
We were fortunately wrong to think that visitors to the battlefields of Europe would dwindle after the memories of the 50th Anniversary of the Second World War had faded. One hundred years have now passed since the start of the of the First World War, and the Battlefield Tours team, along with a number of supportive agencies, schools, and organizations across Canada are continuing to provide important travel programs - in an effort to educate Canadians, by bringing them back to the battlefields where our forefathers fought for our freedoms.
The Battlefield Tours has been growing with us since the very beginning, and today, the experience involves participants of all ages from all different walks of life, with a common desire to understand and pay tribute to the men and women who fought and paid the final sacrifice for our freedom today.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to continue customising and operating Battlefield Tours for Canadians. From our start in 1986, we would have never have thought that we would have the honour of leading Canadians in the centennial years of 2017.

WHY THE BATTLEFIELDS?
This is the destination that started it all - we've been organizing & operating special interest tours to the Battlefields of Europe since our start in 1986. Today, the connection to this subject is only stronger.
The remnants of war, although astounding, are not only present in Europe - and so, our discussions, understandings, and operations have expanded to cover the battlefields as far east as Vietnam, and as far north as Iceland, and the Shetlands.
Battlefield exploration and military history travel is a highly specialized interest that takes a great deal of understanding and experience to customise appropriately, but a tailor-made experience or group tour with The Battlefield Tours of Canada provides a meaningful and impactful learning experience benefiting your travellers' unique connection to the battlefield history.
OPPORTUNITIES with the BATTLEFIELD TOURS
You don't have to be a historian to benefit from a Battlefield Tour, but it can't be guaranteed that you would leave this place without a newfound and passionate understanding and perspective.
We've connected with suppliers and communities that strive to provide exceptional opportunities across the globe.
