In the spring of 2015, Connection Tours & PDM Tourism came together to make group travel a real opportunity for Canadian musicians and performers. Working locally with music communities in Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, and others across Europe,
On December 3rd, 2013 PDM Tourism Group was awarded by the Austrian Commission of UNESCO as an official project in the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. Recognized for their in-depth commitment to providing the essential skills & learning in the experiences they offer, PDM Tourism Group continues to encourage musicians of any age or skill set to embark on a journey that will excite, motivate, and inspire.
Working locally with communities such as Mozartways, and the International Federation for Choral Music, supports choral organizations, choirs, conductors, singers, composers, publishers, and others interested in the choral art, we can now strengthen cooperation between national and international organizations and individuals.
Having the support of PDM offers performance travellers the opportunity to take home more than just a travel experience. We work together with PDM and Austrian based music specialists to arrange opportunity and growth for any aspiring musician.

Our team customizes every group tour from each itinerary differently, focusing on the dozens of requirements which will be unique to you. So, even if you find yourself on a tight budget - enhancing your students’ experience next year by embarking on a performance journey can still be an attainable goal.
Guaranteed Audiences
We work directly with city councils & local communities to easily organize & encourage excited audiences for any performance in any location you choose. The ratio of performers to audience members can be adjusted to the budget you have. Either a 1:1 ratio or 1:2 ratio can be guaranteed.
Selection of Venues
The selection of venues we choose from is determined by many different factors. Some venues charge, whereas some communities will welcome performances without payment for venue hire. We look at all of your options, and can secure anything from prestigious concert halls to local schools and senior communities to fit both your international goals, and your budget.
Group Size & FOC’s
The more travellers involved on your tour will significantly drop the cost of your trip per person. Custom programming also means chaperones & directors traveling with the group can request to travel free of charge, or otherwise heavily discounted for their travel expenses - this also will be reflected in your overall cost per person.
Accommodation
A 5-Star accommodation is very different from a 3-Star Accommodation - but how about other alternative accommodation opportunities? University campus stays, hostels, small family run bed & breakfasts, castle stays, camping, even a local home stay… there are many ways we have managed to arrange affordable accommodation options to cater to a range of travellers of different ages & needs.
Travelling with Instruments
Choose to either fly with your instruments, or rent substitutes upon arrival on-site. We maintain strong relationships with instrument rental co-operatives in each destination we work with. Each groups requirements will be different, but we can assist you with exactly what you need.
Meals
To include, or not to include? Now that is a question! Either way you decide to organize your meals, the beauty in our customization is that you can adjust your meal arrangements to match your budget. The flexibility, suggestions and choices are varied and infinite, with a wide range of locally owned restaurants and eateries to choose from.
